I’ve always loved gardening. Living in Arizona, though, gardening becomes a lesson in patience, timing, and observation. Summer heat pushes you to slow down — deep watering, shade cloths, tending to plants that are hanging on. My rose bushes, basil, zinnias, and citrus trees all have their own personalities.
